Hello all….welcome to a new venture for me…a website! And thanks very much to Ian Sheldon who did it for me.
So who am I? My name is Dr Murray Cook and I am Stirling Council’s Archaeologist…though the blog and any opinions on it are entirely my own. My job is to comment on planning applications but my role and vocation it to promote, engage and explore Stirling’s incredible past and to make sure that all of you, the taxpayers are getting value for money! I run a weekly email list which you can join cookm@stirling.gov.uk and run digs, lectures and walks across the year!
